We are only allowed to have a few volunteers to help, we hope that you understand and will be ready to volunteer for our 12th Shelby Touched Twice Clinic in 2021.

As a result of the increased awareness of Corona Virus 19, the Governor has suggested avoiding large groups of people in confined areas.  Therefore, we must modify the format of The Shelby Touched Twice Clinic this year.

We still desire to touch both physical and spiritual needs.  Consequently, the best format for the safety of both volunteers and guests will be a drive-through format.  The drive-through will open be open March 21, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. as long as prepackaged remain available. Guests will enter the campus of Shelbyville First Baptist Church at the driveway beside the hospital and remain in their cars.

On the backside of the church, our guests will proceed through stations. Our guests will receive prayer, Bible, prepackaged boxes of food and toiletries while remaining within the vehicles. Will will pass out food and toiletries during the hours of 10 am to 2 pm or when we run out of food.

Regrettably, other traditional components of Shelbyville Touched Twice such as medical, dental, eye care and clothing distribution will have to be reintroduced in future years.
